04-2015 The return of Vincent Lagache to the French National Historic Hillclimbing Championship was scheduled for end April, at Abreschwiller.

After restoring the ex-Claude Porcheron AM-K barquette, he had a brilliant season in 2011, his excellent skills being complemented by a well-prepared car powered by a 1296cc Gordini engine built by Tony Lagrasta.

Vincent's successes include being second in both 2011 and 2012 in the Championship's single-seater/barquette class as well as two outright wins at Mont Dore and a win in Groupe 6 in the Retrocourse Challenge.

This AM-K is similar to those driven with success in the mid-1970's by such prestigious drivers as Bernard Chamberod and Christian Rigollet.

So there are now no less than four Marcadiers in this year's National Hillclimb Championship: three barquettes ( ie two 1300's and one 1600) and one F2 single-seater. A great showing for the Lyon manufacturer!
