This was the first Fournier Marcadier project: around 50 were sold ( in kit form). 1963 - 1966

Chassis: steel tubing. Fibreglass body. Front and rear suspension: Renault 8. Engine: Renault 8 or 8 Gordini, mid-mounted. Gearbox: Renault 8 or 8 Gordini (inverted). Weight: 460kg.

The first models had the rear wheels enclosed whilst the later ones had them open, with a spoiler on the rear bodywork .

Chassis: Central backbone. Body: fibreglass. Front and rear suspension from Renault 8. Engine: Renault, from 1100cc to 1860cc, situated at rear, with gearbox from Renault 8, 8 Gordini or Alpine 1600 . Specifications:similar to above, but wheelbase 2.15m; weight 560kgs. About 100 were produced. 2 types of rear deck:louvred, or small vertical rear window.

Monoplace ARAL

This was the first version of the Barzoi, and was derived from the FM 01 Barquette. About 30 were produced 1967-1969 . Chassis: steel, tubular. Body: fibreglass. Suspensions: derived from Renault 8 ( rear wishbone suspension was available as an option). Engine: Renault, from 998cc to 1600 cc, mid-mounted, with an inverted Renault gearbox mounted at rear.

Length: 3.60m. Width: 1.56m. Height: 0.98m. Wheelbase: 2.27m. Track, front and rear: 1.36m ( though this varied depending on wheel spec.). Weight: 540kg. 1969 kit price: 7000Francs (with 1000Francs supplement for optional wishbone rear suspension).Rear deck: flat (same as Barquette FM 01), with 'reverse sloping' rear window.

This rear-engined car, about 20 of which were built (1975 - 1977) was designed to take part in the series of circuit races organised by Echappement magazine , which later evolved into the Simca Racing team series under Chrysler France's auspices.

Chassis: steel "central backbone" type,fibreglass bodywork. Suspension: Simca 1000 Rallye 2 all round. Engine: Simca. Gearbox: Simca Rallye 2. Weight 520kgs. 1976 kit price: 8500 French Francs.   Two rear bodywork versions: one flat with wheels exposed, the other "domed" over the engine, and with wheels covered.

This was designed for the Formula Renault national championships. About 5 were made 1974-1977. Chassis: steel tube, with riveted aluminium panels. Suspension: adjustable "triangulated" wishbone.

Engine: Mid-mounted Renault 12 Gordini 807G linked to Renault 12 Gordini gearbox via a special bell-housing . Weight: 450 kgs.

About 50 were made (1977-1983), fibreglass bodywork. Suspension (front and rear) and gearbox :Simca 1000 Rallye 1, 2 or 3. Weight: 690 kg , 1977 kit price: 15000 French francs.

Two bodywork versions: shorter front bonnet, and narrower arches (above), and longer (by 12 cms) front bonnet and wider arches.

Barquette AM78

Only one of these was made, specifically for Roger Rivoire's 1979 hill-climb season and drive by Michel Champelovier during périod 1990-2010.

This was a replica of Colin Chapman's creation from the late 50's.About 50 kits were produced, beginning in 1987.The first with FIAT 124 engine , three were fitted with Ford 'Kent' , whilst the remainder were fitted with Fiat 132 engines (from 1300cc to 1995cc, and with Abarth blocks).

From 1989 the car was both lengthened and widened.Chassis: tubular, with aluminium and steel panels. Fibreglass body .Wheelbase: 2.20m. Track: 1.30m and 1.33m.Front suspension: triangulated (derived from Simca 1000Rallye 2). Rigid rear suspension (Ford or Fiat). Weight: from 540 to 650 kgs.
